Learning to read, reading to learn, and reading assessment; comprehension strategies; reading instruction; and integration of computer technology are addressed. Methods and materials needed to promote reading achievement in content subjects by the early childhood classroom teacher based on Pennsylvania Core Standards are presented.Field experiences required.
