Description
Introduction to the theories and methods of the discipline of anthropology, providing an overview of tribal cultures, social organization, kinship patterns, and religions. Using case studies drawn from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, focuses upon the interactions between tribal cultures and modern nation states, particularly as a result of globalization.
