Description

An integrated biological, psychological, social, and cultural approach to the behavior of infants, children, adolescents, young adults, and adults from middle age through the end life. Theories of human development and human behavior are critically examined to determine their applicability to diverse populations. An ecological life model perspective is integrated with systems theory in order to help students recognize the dynamics of human behavior and social problems at each stage of the life-cycle.Credits: 3.When Offered: Fall semester.Pre/Corequisite:SSW 150.Liberal Arts Curriculum: Satisfiesthe Diversity, Equity and Social Justicerequirement.
